Job summary

CorSource Technology Group seeks an Electronics Engineer 1 to support the Testing and Commissioning – Specialty Services, PSC organization. The engineer will install and troubleshoot telecom circuits, support capital construction projects, and coordinate field work across the Northwest region with frequent travel to field locations.

Responsibilities include startup/commissioning of communication facilities, documentation, and collaboration with SMEs and project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (prefer electronic or telecom engineering).
• Candidates within 3 months of graduation will be considered.
• 6 months of electrical engineering experience required (paid or training).

Responsibilities

• Compile technical results in summaries, reports, and graphics to support engineering staff.
• Perform engineering studies with SMEs and document findings.
• Participate in teams to research and test telecommunication equipment.
• Provide planning support and coordinate service plans with stakeholders.
• Use standard telecommunications guides and designs to correct errors from approved standards.
• Travel to remote sites to collect data for field issues.
• Start-up and commissioning of substation and control center communication facilities, including radios and fiber optics.
• Prepare equipment settings sheets and documentation for installed packages.
• Provide project scheduling updates and create technical reports for work accomplished.
• Install and integrate communications equipment per technical documentation.
• Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
