Kanaan Communications, LLC in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and operate heavy drilling equipment in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities include potholing to verify bore paths, maintaining schedules, ensuring safety, and performing equipment maintenance. Requires CDL with tanker endorsement and prior drilling experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and drill setup processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control drilling equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify utilities by potholing to confirm bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
