Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Drafter/Designer to plot, map, design, and draft in CADD for telecommunications networks and permits. You will create accurate network maps, layouts, drawings, and detailed electronic construction prints to meet customer expectations.

The role involves collaborating with Engineering and Construction teams, coordinating with permitting agencies, and developing work prints and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or 3 years of telecommunications.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• May work after hours or on weekends.
• Regular and timely attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with execution of projects and plans supporting drafting strategy.
• Create Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software
• Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks
• Work with Engineering and Construction departments and coordinate with permitting agencies
• Create documentation and reporting to support the work package, i.e. BOM, labor quantities
• Ensure facility designs follow company standards and comply with local/state/federal regulations (RUS)
• Identify and address project issues and risks; participate in response plans
• Provide documentation required for cost-effective placement of communication facilities
• Meet project deadlines and complete tasks under tight timelines
• Other duties as assigned.
