Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking an entry-level Drafter/Designer in Centennial, CO. You will draft fiber network layouts, develop OSP designs, prepare work prints, and coordinate with engineering, construction, and permitting teams.

You will gain field training, work with AutoCAD, and contribute to compliant designs under timelines. This role offers hands-on experience in utility infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of projects and plans supporting the organization's long-term drafting strategy.
• Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software.
• Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Construction departments and permitting agencies.
• Create documentation and reporting to support the work package (e.g., bill of materials, labor quantities).
• Ensure facility designs follow company standards and comply with local/state/federal regulations (including RUS).
• Identify and address project issues and risks; participate in response plans.
• Provide documentation for cost-effective placement of communication facilities.
• Meet project deadlines and complete tasks under tight timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.]

At Pauley Construction, LLC, as a Drafter Designer, you’ll plot, map, design, and draft in CADD using the requirements for telecommunications networks and permits. You will create accurate network maps, layouts, drawings, and detailed electronic construction prints to meet customer expectations.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications.
• Must possess, or obtain upon employment, a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
• Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
• May be required to work after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed.
• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.

• You will have solid experience with the principles and practices of fiber specific projects, network deployments and related fields
• You may have 1 or more years of progressive experience in drafting - You may have proficiency in Auto CAD
• You may have advanced training in the field.

Pay Range: The Drafter/Designer hourly wage range is $20.00 - $25.00 depending on experience.
