Pauley Construction, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Entry-Level Drafter/Designer to map and draft telecom network designs using CAD tools. You will create accurate network layouts and construction prints to meet customer expectations.

The role supports drafting strategy with field training, requires 18+, and may involve after-hours work. Competitive pay and safety-conscious environment in a regional utility contractor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or 3 years telecommunications experience.
• Must possess or obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Allowed to work in the United States for the company.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• May require after-hours work or weekends; on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with execution of projects and plans supporting drafting strategy.
• Create Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software.
• Develop and issue work prints for OSP telecom networks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and permitting agencies.
• Create BOMs, labor quantities, and reporting for work packages.
• Ensure facility designs meet standards and regulations including RUS.
• Identify project issues and participate in response plans.
• Provide documentation for cost-effective placement of facilities.
• Meet project deadlines under tight timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
