Job summary

TCS Communications, LLC is seeking a Drafting/Designing Coordinator in Orlando to create and modify telecom and permit drawings, ensuring designs meet customer specifications. You’ll use AutoCAD or similar software, help manage project timelines, and provide timely information to the team.

The role involves designing small extensions and coordinating schedules, producing high-quality drafts, and learning new software as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or up to two years of Telecom Outside Plant (OSP) design/engineering experience required.
• Coursework or internship in design and drafting preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company is required.

Responsibilities

• Create or modify telecommunications and permit drawings.
• Design small extensions and small system redesigns per customer specifications.
• Produce high-quality drafts using AutoCAD or other specified software for mapping data and design.
• Coordinate project timelines and deliverables to align drafting work with project goals.
• Provide strand maps, drafted design maps, and BOMs/digital files to the team in a timely manner.
• Maintain high production levels to meet client expectations.
• Learn new software and adapt to new technology as needed.
• Meet project deadlines under tight timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
