Job summary

TriTechne is seeking a Design Technician II to produce precise CAD drawings for telecommunications projects and maintain design documentation, collaborating with engineers and project teams.

This role builds on drafting experience, enabling greater independence while emphasizing quality checks, standards compliance, and ongoing process improvements across fiber, aerial, and underground networks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, GIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in CAD drafting or technical design.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed CAD drawings for telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Translate design requirements into accurate, constructible plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain organized and up‑to‑date design documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and implement revisions.
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Support continuous improvement of design processes and documentation.
