Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. in Hubbard, TX seeks an Engineering Project Manager - ISP to lead outside plant and inside plant engineering for data centers and fiber networks.

You will coordinate between engineering, construction, customers, and utility providers, translate technical requirements into constructible solutions, and travel up to 50% as needed. The role requires a telecom/ISP background, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex technical scopes from concept

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant ISP/telecom engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic networks, structured cabling, and ISP design standards.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, fiber route plans, splice diagrams, rack layouts, pathway designs, and technical specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISP engineering coordination for data center, telecoms, and fiber projects.
• Manage technical deliverables and design coordination between customers, consultants, vendors, and construction teams.
• Review telecommunications drawings, fiber route plans, structured cabling designs, splice diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Support proposal development, scope definition, budgeting, and preconstruction reviews.
• Identify technical risks, design conflicts, and project challenges while developing practical solutions.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables to support procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
