Job summary

PUSH, a premier utility contractor, seeks a Superintendent to manage projects, mentor Foremen and crews, and ensure safety, quality, and profitability. The role requires coordinating staffing, subcontractors, and schedules while maintaining strong relationships with customers and engineers.

Ideal candidate will have extensive field experience in telecom infrastructure or utility construction, be able to travel extensively, and lead teams to meet deadlines and budget targets in diverse

Qualifications

• Five (5) years supervisory experience within a utility construction setting.
• Demonstrated field experience with digging operations and operating equipment such as backhoe/loader, excavator, cable plow and compact track loader.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed safety, quality and productivity requirements for projects.
• Lead, direct and mentor Foreman and crews to ensure on-time completion within budget and objectives.
• Staff projects by recruiting and retaining talent and promoting career advancement.
• Manage employee relations, recognition, discipline and performance evaluations.
• Recruit subcontractors for approval and manage their work.
• Initiate training and cross-training for personnel under responsibility.
• Plan and schedule projects, ensuring deadlines are met or beat.
• Monitor performance for productivity, safety and quality; resolve issues.
• Review and approve daily time, time reports, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Maintain daily project logs and communicate with Fleet Manager about equipment use.
• Understand project contracts and ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
