Job summary

Optimum seeks a Construction Operations Lead to coordinate the development, implementation, construction, and documentation of new cable-related projects in Tioga, TX. You will oversee pre-fielding, planning, scheduling, and direct activities of subcontractors and in-house teams to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, plan-reading ability, and a proven track record in telecommunications construction, with focus on MDU projects and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of cable system construction.
• Experience reading construction blueprints.
• Minimum five years construction experience.
• Minimum two years with MDU design and builds.
• Three years of manager/supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule construction activities with departments and external partners.
• Oversee subcontractor and in-house crews for MDU and plant projects.
• Administer site inspections for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and evaluate performance of direct reports.
• Ensure timely project delivery and budget adherence.
