Job summary

TAK Broadband in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead telecom construction projects across the region. You will supervise crews, coordinate with permitting, engineering, and logistics, and manage safety and quality across multiple sites.

Travel up to 25% within AZ/NM is required. The role offers full benefits, a company vehicle, and competitive compensation. A strong background in fiber/coax construction and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total telecommunications construction experience with supervisory duties.
• Knowledge of coax/splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading.
• Experience with aerial and underground construction and micro trenching.
• Ability to estimate, bid projects and prepare change orders.
• Willingness to travel regionally (+/-25%).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities across multiple projects.
• Supervise construction crews and subcontractors for quality, safety, and schedule.
• Conduct site walks, pre-construction meetings, safety audits, and closeouts.
• Coordinate permitting, engineering, real estate, and logistics teams.
• Track milestones and manage material deliveries and equipment staging.
• Support budget and schedule maintenance with the Director of Construction.
• Serve as escalation point for field issues and develop resolution strategies.
• Communicate project status and risks clearly to leadership and clients.
