Job summary

TAK Broadband is seeking an experienced Construction Manager in the Phoenix, AZ area to lead telecom construction projects within the Pre-Construction team. The role oversees daily field activities, coordinates crews and subcontractors, and drives safety and quality across multiple sites, with on-site supervision and regional travel.

Travel up to 25% within AZ and NM, competitive compensation of $90K-$125K DOE, full benefits, PTO, a company vehicle, laptop and phone, and 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecom construction with supervising roles.
• Experience with coax/fiber splicing and directional drilling.
• Knowledge of aerial/underground construction methods.
• Ability to read maps and plan micro trenching projects.
• Experience estimating, bidding, and change orders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% regionally.
• Proficient with MS Office and field software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction across multiple projects.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors for quality and schedule.
• Conduct site walks, safety audits, and closeout inspections.
• Coordinate permitting, engineering, real estate, and logistics.
• Track milestones using company tools.
• Maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Serve as on-site escalation point and resolve field issues.
• Communicate status and risks to leadership and clients.
• Ensure work follows safety protocols and regs.
• Travel regionally as needed.
