Job summary

Metronet in Aurora, CO is seeking a Construction Manager to lead assigned project(s). You will own the project budget, ensure timelines are met, manage the project team, and serve as the primary interface with customers, delivering quality results.

This role requires deep telecom construction knowledge, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and the ability to coordinate across onsite teams to meet scope, safety, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in construction management.
• Strong knowledge of Telecom construction, project budgeting, scheduling and field operations.
• Ten or more years of telecommunications OSP network design and construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand contracts and requirements for each project.
• Create and execute work plans, schedules and control budgets.
• Assign duties to project management team and staff.
• Manage day-to-day operations to meet timelines and budgets.
• Meet with customers to provide progress updates and handle changes.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits and project specifications.
• Communicate requirements to staff and assist with technical questions.
• Represent Metronet in communications with customers and stakeholders.
