Job summary

Metronet in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Construction Manager to lead its project teams and own the budget, schedule, and scope for assigned telecom construction projects. You will interface with customers, prepare progress reports, and drive on-time, under-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in construction management, electrical engineering or civil engineering (or equivalent)
• 10+ years of telecommunications OSP network design and construction experience
• Experience managing large telecom construction projects and budgets

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and project requirements
• Create and execute work plans, schedules and budgets
• Assign duties to project team and staff
• Manage day-to-day operations to meet timelines and budgets
• Meet with customers and provide progress reports and changes
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits and specifications
• Communicate requirements to project staff and stakeholders
• Represent the company in communications with customers and partners
• Review and approve job cost accounting reports
• Maintain relationships with management and clients
