Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Construction Manager I, II, or III to lead field crews, coordinate daily operations, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. This role interfaces with project managers, field crews, clients, and internal teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• Proven experience managing construction crews safely and efficiently
• Experience in aerial and underground telecommunications construction
• Experience coordinating schedules, materials, budgets, and customer requirements
• Experience supervising field personnel and managing multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of assigned construction crews
• Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching, and support the professional development of direct reports
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Administer corrective actions and prepare documentation related to employee performance and conduct
• Train and mentor Foremen while providing oversight on assigned projects
• Coordinate project scheduling, material procurement, and resource allocation with Project Managers
• Collaborate with customers on project planning, site coordination, and scheduling activities
• Order materials and monitor inventory requirements for assigned projects
• Coordinate with administrative staff on crew timesheets, job documentation, and project setup
• Review and approve invoices and project-related documentation
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within established budgets
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and overall project progress
• Review and complete daily production reports, as-built documentation, mark-up maps, and project closeout packages
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing field personnel
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs
