Qualifications

• Completion of a technical school program with relevant construction experience.
• Experience in the utility contracting industry with field operations.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, practices, and fundamentals.
• Experience with contract and subcontract management and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
• Telecommunications experience is a strong asset.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary liaison between subcontractors, utilities, municipalities, clients, inspectors, unions, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily field operations, including crew scheduling and workload management.
• Conduct site visits and quality reviews to verify workmanship and ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, permits, restoration, and traffic management requirements.
• Conduct daily field inspections of telecommunications projects (FTTH, OSP, fiber, wireless).
• Identify and resolve field issues and risks while driving corrective actions.
• Support change requests and claims with field documentation and insights.
• Validate as-built conditions and support QA/QC.
• Maintain project records and reporting (inspections, logs, photos, progress).
• Ensure compliance with municipal permits and environmental controls.
• Troubleshoot field issues and stakeholder concerns.
• Identify scope changes and elevate risks.
• Monitor project performance and coordinate materials and assets.
• Coordinate receipt and distribution of branded materials.
