Job summary

Aecon is seeking a results-driven Regional Manager to lead telecom construction operations across a designated U.S. region. This role oversees regional performance, schedule, and profitability while ensuring safe, efficient delivery and alignment with company objectives.

You will manage a team of supervisors and project staff, coordinate with clients, unions, and senior leadership, and drive staffing, budgeting, and risk management across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in project management, including budget, schedule, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to travel across the assigned region to support operations, client relationships, workforce management, and business objectives.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and technical standards across Aecon operating markets.
• General knowledge of non-residential construction methods, building systems, and industry terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and financial performance of the region and assist GM in annual planning and financial targets.
• Provide leadership to project managers, construction managers, and coordinators; ensure safety, schedule, and quality.
• Drive regional forecasting, staffing strategy, and customer growth; maintain client and union relationships.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and strategies; manage risk and recovery plans when needed.
• Lead business development activities including estimating, risk analysis, and procurement oversight.
