Job summary

MasTec Communications Group seeks a Construction Supervisor to oversee telecom construction projects, lead field teams, and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

You will develop crew skills, drive on-time delivery, and maintain strong customer service while coordinating with multiple crews across aerial and underground work. A hands-on leader committed to safety and quality is essential for long-term project success.

Qualifications

• Safety is a day-to-day part of the role.
• Track record of delivering quality work.
• Hands-on approach with problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading construction crews on long-term projects.
• Willingness to mentor and coach team members.
• Knowledge of telecom construction (Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, map reading).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn custom software.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Develop team’s skill set and knowledge of telecom construction (Aerial and underground).
• Lead by example and support the safety culture across the company.
• Drive the team to meet deadlines and deliver quality projects.
• Provide a high level of customer service when interfacing with customers.
• Gives direction to multiple crews and their job site activities.
