Job summary

CTI Resource Management seeks a Telecommunications Mechanic II to support Fort Novosel infrastructure, ensuring voice, data, and video services with robust cable management and documentation. The role covers installation, testing, and maintenance of telecom systems across NEC facilities.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma and IT/wireless experience, with a focus on safety and DoD cybersecurity policies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with four years of IT networking or wireless communication experience.
• Cable Plant experience – at least 1 year current inside/outside cabling experience.
• BICSI Installer 1 Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a well-documented cable management system across NEC-owned facilities with proper labeling and routing.
• Conduct regular audits of the cable management system and implement corrective actions.
• Provide 99.9% reliability for ISP systems and respond to outages as per the AITP Service List.
• Perform maintenance, installation, testing, troubleshooting, removal and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems.
• Coordinate installation, patching, removal and movement of all premise wiring and LAN drops in offices and buildings.
• Assist in moves, adds, and changes for MCA/SRM/Projects beyond construction.
