Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate all drilling equipment while maintaining schedules and site safety.

You will also verify utilities by potholing, mix drilling muds, and manage setup, maintenance, and weather-related work. The role requires a valid CDL and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with drilling equipment and understanding bore design.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and rugged environments.
• Good manual dexterity and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
