Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of construction professionals from project start to finish. You will mentor engineers, manage project assignments, monitor progress, and ensure quality and safety across telecommunication deployments.

Responsibilities include coaching your team, maintaining a monthly project forecast, and leveraging your knowledge of wireline systems to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing telecom construction projects.
• Strong leadership and team coaching abilities.
• Financial forecasting and project budgeting knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ability to learn company-specific software.
• Wireline experience is required; prior AT&T/Comcast exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Outside Plant Engineers (Project Coordinators).
• Assign and oversee projects; ensure timely completion and quality standards.
• Coach, develop, and mentor team members for growth.
• Maintain monthly financial forecast for project management.
