MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Wireline Telecom Area Manager to lead construction projects end-to-end and mentor a team of Outside Plant Engineers. You will manage budgets, forecast finances, and ensure quality and safety across Frontier-related CT projects.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, project management, and financial acumen, experience with telecom construction, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle software. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience managing telecom construction projects and leading teams.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a focus on development.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software.
• Experience with Frontier projects is a plus (design, operations, construction).

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from start to finish while mentoring team members.
• Manage a team of Outside Plant Engineers (Project Coordinators).
• Assign and oversee projects, monitor progress, ensure quality and timeliness.
• Maintain monthly financial forecast for project management.
