Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager in the United States to grow opportunities in turnkey telecom, fiber, and data center projects. You will identify and secure new clients, build relationships with carriers, ISPs, and government entities, and lead cross-functional onboarding and prequalification efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales, or capture in telecom, fiber, or utilities infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally 40–50% and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized pipeline of target clients across telecom, fiber, utilities, and data center sectors.
• Monitor BEAD, NTIA, ReConnect, and related programs for opportunities before bids.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers at tier-1 carriers, ISPs, and local governments to position Utilities One for opportunities.
• Coordinate onboarding, registrations, and prequalification with contracts, insurance, and compliance teams.
• Lead discovery and alignment calls and support pricing and proposals with the Bid & Pricing team.
• Represent Utilities One at meetings, site visits, conferences, and trade events.
• Maintain records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM and report weekly.
