Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. You will provide tools, assets, and support to crew members in a fast-paced field environment.

The role requires 18+ years old, a valid US driver's license, and eligibility to work in the United States. Prior telecom labor experience is a plus and a pole climber certification is ideal.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma, GED, or related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Telecom labor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
