Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials.

You’ll provide tools, parts, and materials to the crew, reposition equipment, manage door-tagging and resident notifications, stock and clean vehicles, and assist with traffic control. This role requires working in all weather and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorization to work in the United States for the company.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed daily.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow per local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call/after-hours as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
