Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. This on-site role requires basic labor tasks and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

You will be paid weekly, enjoy PTO and holidays, a 401(k) match, and education reimbursement. You may also participate in a stock purchase plan and other voluntary benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience required.
• Willingness to learn and perform physical labor in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned
