Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial telecom crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. The role involves providing tools, moving equipment, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on job sites.

Applicants should be 18+, have valid work authorization, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Training, safety gear, and union awareness are part of the employment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver\'s license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
