Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC invites applications for a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew in the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. Position requires physical labor, ability to work overtime, travel, and operate under DOT guidelines, with training and safety prioritized.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, and willingness to become pole climbing certified.

Qualifications

• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
