Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.

You will guide less experienced team members, manage daily work orders, and be ready to travel for storm response as needed. A valid DOT medical card and a minimum of 3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables and support structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure smooth traffic flow on site.
• Safely perform work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Provide guidance and support to other crew members.
• Be available to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
