Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC seeks a Telecom Aerial Foreman to lead on-site installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and support structures. You will ensure compliance with safety standards while coordinating the crew to meet customer requirements.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam. Willingness to travel for storm response is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record and able to pass a DOT exam.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems per codes and customer specs.
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure smooth traffic flow on site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Provide guidance to others and support the crew as needed.
• Travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
