Job summary

VCI Construction is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will act as the on-site expert, guiding less experienced crew members while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 3 years in related work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel for storm response on short notice. Competitive wage range and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• DOT medical card required upon hire.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to codes and customer requirements.
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Maintain safe work areas and minimize traffic disruption on job sites.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Use hand and power tools safely (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Provide guidance to team members and support storm-response travel as needed.
• Complete daily work orders and safety checks.
