Job summary

At VCI Construction, LLC, a Telecom Aerial Foreman supervises the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You’ll guide less experienced teammates and act as the on-site expert to keep projects on track.

You’ll travel for storm response and document daily work orders and safety checks, with strong emphasis on safe heights, tool use, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Pass DOT physical exam for a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Pole climbing certification or willingness to certify.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Maintain safe work areas and smooth traffic flow on the job site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws) safely.
• Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
• Travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
