Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Wake Forest Health Network: Catawba - Internal Medicine for a full-time role. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with a pay range of $35.50–$53.25 per hour. Requires RN licensure in the appropriate state and BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required in some areas.

Minimum two years of acute care experience is required; BSN preferred. Teletriage and health insurance/managed care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with two years of acute care experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Prefer acute care experience within the last 10 years.
• Previous experience in Telephone Triage and with Health Insurance and Managed Care concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/family centered care, acting as partner and adviser.
• Applies critical reasoning and clinical judgment to expedite appropriate care via telecommunication technologies.
• Ensures proper scheduling and follow up on test results for providers.
• Applies the ANA Code of Ethics to professional obligations and patient care.
• Demonstrates lifelong learning and professional development promoting leadership and clinical excellence.
