Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Family Medicine setting in Conover, NC. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, coordination, and the use of telecommunication technologies to assess and guide treatment. 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm, with pay range $35.50–$53.25 per hour.

Requires RN license in the appropriate state and two years of acute care experience; BSN preferred. ACLS/PALS may be required in certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with two years of acute care experience required. BSN preferred.
• Prefer acute care experience within the last 10 years.
• Previous experience in Telephone Triage and with Health Insurance and Managed Care concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/family centered care, acting as partner and adviser to manage health care needs.
• Exploits telecommunication tools (phone, email, patient portal) to assess and guide care.
• Ensures scheduling and follow-up on test results with providers and patients.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics in professional obligations and patient care.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and participates in shared governance.
• Focuses on patient safety, quality of nursing care, and effective communication.
