Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide telephone triage and acute care support in a non-remote, 40-hour workweek. The role emphasizes patient communication, care coordination, and adherence to clinical protocols.

The ideal candidate has two years of acute care experience, RN licensure in the appropriate state, and BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required for certain areas. BSN is preferred, with standard benefits and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with two years of acute care experience required.
• Prefer acute care experience within the last 10 years.
• Previous experience in Telephone Triage and with Health Insurance and Managed Care concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/family centered care and supports patients and families to manage health care.
• Uses telecommunication technologies to assess and assist patients.
• Ensures proper scheduling and follow up on test results for providers.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and maintains professional development.
