Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Human Services, Youth Development, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in youth development, nonprofit programming, or related field.
• Experience supervising staff and leading programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with middle and high school youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of teen programming.
• Ensure programs align with BGCA’s Five Core Program Areas and outcome priorities.
• Maintain focus on workforce readiness, life skills development, and leadership opportunities.
• Identify trends and evolving teen interests to keep programming engaging and relevant.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance program impact and effectiveness.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Teen Center and ensure a safe environment.
• Establish consistency in program delivery, expectations, and Club experience.
• Develop strategies to recruit and retain teens (ages 12–18) and engage them in outreach.
