Job summary

Ymca-of-Frederick-County is seeking a part-time teen supervisor to oversee teen members during assigned hours. You will model YMCA values, support positive relationships, and help youth reach their potential in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include leading afterschool clubs, creating lesson plans, coordinating field trips, and ensuring safety and conduct per YMCA policies. This role emphasizes growth, accountability, and community service within the Y.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and managing groups.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with parents and staff.
• Demonstrates a welcoming, nurturing attitude aligned with YMCA values.

Responsibilities

• Ensure members sign in/out accurately and manage membership cards.
• Create a welcoming environment for youth and parents.
• Develop and deliver teen programs and afterschool clubs.
• Lead field trips and community service activities for teens.
• Document incidents and enforce Code of Conduct protocols.
• Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness; monitor media usage.
• Attend staff meetings and support other Y Youth Development programs.
