Job summary

YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking a part-time Teen Coordinator to design, plan, and run enrichment programs for teens ages 13–17. You will lead Leaders Club, Y Achievers, Teen Entrepreneurship, and service-learning projects under the Program Director, creating leadership opportunities and family partnerships.

You will mentor teens, foster inclusive spaces, and collaborate with schools and community partners to ensure positive outcomes and safety standards across programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver engaging programs for teens, including Leaders Club, Y Achievers, Teen Entrepreneurship, Youth & Government service-learning projects, recreational activities, and special events.
• Build strong relationships with teens and serve as a mentor and role model.
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and families to support teen engagement and expand opportunities.
