Job summary

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE OZARKS is seeking a dedicated staff member to oversee and deliver teen programs aligned with Formula For Impact outcomes such as academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.

The role involves recruiting teens at schools, coordinating facility use, planning field trips and events, and evaluating program effectiveness with regular reporting to the Program Director.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (high school diploma or GED preferred).
• Some experience in working with children, preferably school-aged children.
• Basic knowledge of youth development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the administration of designated teen programs and activities supporting the Formula For Impact priority outcomes.
• Coordinate use of facilities for teens (gym, outdoor spaces, etc.).
• Recruit teens by visiting schools for games and other recreational settings.
• Organize meaningful field trips for teens.
• Plan and organize teen special events.
• Evaluate programs and report results to the Program Director by deadlines, addressing gender or cultural needs of members.
• Collect data and prepare regular reports for programs, funding sources, and other projects (e.g., Meth Smarts, Smart Moves, Passport to Manhood).
• Oversee proper teen record keeping including daily attendance and participation.
