Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a Teen Specialist to oversee teen programs, collaborate with the Programs team, and maintain program quality and safety at Clubhouse locations in Nevada.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in a BGCSNV or similar setting with youth, and strong proficiency in Microsoft/Google productivity tools. Occasional driving may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (per HTML).
• Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization with middle/high school youth.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children and large groups in activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee teen programs and activities to support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Plan, develop, report and implement teen programs in collaboration with the Programs team.
• Maintain grant compliance of teen programs and ensure proper documentation and metrics.
• Serve as mentor/role model and enforce standards for conduct and safety.
• Promote programs and assist with recruitment and outreach.
• Drive Club vans periodically and maintain safety of Clubhouse areas.
• May serve as acting Clubhouse supervisor in absence of leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
