Schaumburg Township District Library has a great opportunity for a current high school junior, senior or college student. We are looking for an energetic, competent and detail-oriented Teen Programming Mentor to join our team. This is a part-time, temporary position working three (3) hours a week from Tuesday, October 13, 2026 through August 3, 2027. The hours for this position are Tuesdays, with hours from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. or 5:30p.m.-8:30p.m. depending on Library needs.The pay range for this position is $15.00/hour to $16.31/hour, based on skills and qualifications.Position Summary:The Teen Programming mentor will assist Teen Librarians with organizing and running teen programs. This includes assisting with Dungeons & Dragons Club, developing escape rooms, and other programs as assigned. The mentor provides guidance to teen patrons during programs with patience and enthusiasm.
