Job summary

Schaumburg Township District Library is seeking a Teen Programming Mentor who will help run engaging teen programs, including D&D clubs and escape room activities. The role supports Teen Librarians and requires enthusiasm and attention to detail.

The position is part-time and temporary, with weekly evening hours on Tuesdays, and a pay range of $15.00–$16.31 per hour. Ideal for a current high school junior, senior, or college student who enjoys working with teens.

Qualifications

• Must be a current high school junior, senior, or college student.
• Experience playing and/or running Dungeons & Dragons games preferred.
• Ability to learn various job functions and follow library policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teen Librarians in developing and running engaging teen programs.
• Conduct room setup and cleanup for each program.
• Promote library programming and opportunities for teens.
• Represent the library professionally and communicate with patrons and staff.
