Oregon Department of Human Services in Oregon seeks a Teen Permanency Supervisor to lead a responsive child welfare team and supervise staff. You will oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews, while aligning service delivery with community needs and DHS policies.

The role requires strong leadership and collaboration across departments. As a senior leader, you will drive data-informed decisions, support staff with trauma-informed coaching, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with lead/supervisory experience.
• Alternative: degree not in human services with Oregon competency coursework and lead exp.
• Associate degree with multiple years of human services and some leadership.
• Associate degree with Oregon Caseworker Competency coursework and lead exp.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and complaints.
• Plan and implement service delivery aligned with community needs.
• Interpret policies and apply procedures from DHS and the District.
• Delegate resources, ensure client service continuity, address grievances.
• Ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements through reviews.
• Monitor client needs and maintain timely casework practices.
• Provide consultation and training to staff and liaise with agencies.
