Job summary

PEAK Initiative in Milwaukee seeks a Teen Programs Coordinator to empower high schoolers (grades 9-12) through discovery, experience, and project-based learning to reach their full potential.

You will lead Milwaukee-based teen programs, serve as lead facilitator for high school workshops, support LT internships year-round, recruit participants, coordinate with community partners, and assist with summer Day Camp leadership and overnight expeditions.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience; experience in teaching and facilitating classes, trainings, and/or workshops.
• Experience supporting youth navigate complex emotions and engaging with guardians.
• Experience in coordinating youth programs and activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Milwaukee-based programming for participants in grades 9-12 under guidance of the program manager.
• Serve as lead facilitator for high school programs, workshops, and leadership labs.
• Support program preparation, design, and execution including curriculum and logistics.
• Support LT internship program year-round and lead Milwaukee Camps in the summer.
• Lead teen participant recruitment activities and coordinate with community partners.
• Attend overnight trips and expeditions and transport participants using PEAK vehicles.
• Contribute to summer Day Camp leadership with LT intern support and guidance.
