Boys & Girls Clubs RMAC Branch in Olympia, WA is seeking a Part-Time Teen Engagement Specialist to develop and deliver engaging programs for teens in grades 6-12. duties include outreach, mentorship, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure positive youth experiences.

The role emphasizes safety, strong communication, and teamwork; CPR/First Aid certifications are required, background checks completed, and the position is on-site at the Olympia branch.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years old.
• Experience working with youth, parents/guardians and/or community partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to de-escalate problems and problem-solve in day-to-day activities.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required (course available upon hire).
• Must pass local and national background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, marketing, and delivery of educational and recreational programming for Club members.
• Plan and implement programs under the Academic Success and Healthy Lifestyles areas, including homework help, art projects, and field trips for grades 6-12.
• Provide age-appropriate activities and supervision; elementary programs may occur occasionally.
• Promote a safe, positive environment with high energy and teamwork.
• Maintain relationships with parents, staff, and visitors to the Club.
• Attend branch staff meetings and mandatory trainings; perform other tasks as needed.
