Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston seeks a Teen Career Pathways Program Manager to lead workforce readiness, career development, and teen engagement across the Club and partner networks.

You will provide career coaching, life‑skills development, and manage internships and work‑based learning opportunities, collaborating with employers, schools, and community partners to connect teens with meaningful career experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering workforce readiness, career development, youth development, or related programming and support services for teens.
• At least one year of supervisory, program leadership, or internship/work‑based learning coordination experience.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship‑building, and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and engage teens around career planning, employment preparation, and professional development.
• Must be or become CPR/First Aid certified.
• Ability to work effectively with teens and families from a variety of backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver workforce readiness programming, including skill development, career exploration, industry‑recognized certifications, and work‑based learning.
• Provide individual and group career coaching to help teen members identify interests and plan for employment and further education.
• Lead outreach, recruitment, and enrollment into Ready to Work programming.
• Support intern success through coaching, feedback, and professional development.
• Coordinate Ready to Work University curriculum, workshops, and events.
