Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in Chelsea, MA seeks a College Pathways Manager to support members from middle school through high school graduation and post-secondary planning. You will provide individualized advising, targeted academic support, and college-access programming to guide members toward college opportunities.

The role collaborates with the Director of Academic Success, requires data tracking, and involves coordinating College Club, tours, and family-engagement activities to improve

Competenze

• Two to four years of experience in college access, secondary education, youth development, or an educational nonprofit setting.
• Direct experience delivering educational, academic, or college-access programming for teens.
• Knowledge of college admissions, financial aid, scholarship processes, and post-secondary planning.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and track and analyze student progress using data-management systems.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills; effective public speaking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database or student-tracking systems.
• Flexibility to work Club hours, including occasional evenings and Saturdays.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, human services, youth development, higher education, or related field (preferred).

• Guide members and families through FAFSA and CSS Profile processes.
• Assist high school seniors with scholarships by providing guidance on eligibility and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of college applications and financial aid processes.
• Build individualized relationships with a diverse caseload to support academic growth and planning.
• Lead and coordinate college access programming and related events.
• Collaborate with teen education staff to align supports with student success.
