Job summary

Kustomer in New York is seeking a TechOps professional to own internal tooling, automate workflows, and connect systems across the company. You will partner with security, engineering, and support to streamline processes and raise operational efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years as a Systems Administrator, strong experience with Google Workspace, MacOS, Okta, and Jamf Pro, plus a passion for AI-enabled automation in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• 2+ years of supporting Google Workspace, MacOS, Okta and Jamf Pro.
• Customer experience mindset with empathy and action for internal customers.
• Experience owning an automated SaaS stack.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of networking basics (routers, VLANs, VPN).
• Interest in applying AI to automate, optimize, and scale TechOps.

Responsibilities

• Proactively eliminate friction through automation and self-service.
• Deliver fast, high‑quality resolutions for technical requests and escalations.
• Manage hardware operations: Mac provisioning, onboarding, remote logistics, repairs, lifecycle.
• Champion and integrate SaaS tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, 1Password, Jamf Pro.
• Drive TechOps improvements to automate, secure, and scale operations.
• Collaborate with Security to audit systems and tighten compliance.
• Document knowledge in Notion and create accessible SOPs for the team.
• Oversee tooling strategy and vendor relationships for a scalable SaaS catalog.
