Job Title: Technology Technician II
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: The work requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. The work at times requires bending, squatting, reaching, with the ability to lift, carry (max of 50 lbs), push or pull light weights. The work requires activities frequently involving driving automotive equipment.
Reports to: Director of Technology
Supervises: N/A
Purpose of Position: This position will provide technical support and assistance to the Technology team, including answering phones, if needed, assisting with light repair of broken and warrantied technology devices, and verifying that devices are configured to district standards in a centralized location. This position will provide support to our schools’ students, staff and central office locations. This position will also support the technology team with new installs of technology equipment and refresh projects, inventory audits and processes, documentation of processes and procedures, pickup and deliveries of technology devices, and level 2 technology support as needed. In addition, this position will manage and maintain assigned technology systems to the highest standards, provide crisis management support for major outages that could seriously affect the educational environment, train end users, and provide documentation to support their technology systems.
