United Community Action Partnership, Inc. in Marshall, MN seeks a Technology Systems Specialist to support the Transportation Team by managing and improving technology systems that keep operations moving.

The role covers project support from planning through deployment, system maintenance for local and remote users, and delivering clear technology training. Associate degree in CS with 2 years IT experience required; A+ certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science with 2 years IT experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• A+ Certification and other relevant industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Move Technology Forward: Support technology projects from research and planning through implementation and deployment.
• Keep Systems Running: Maintain, repair, and upgrade computers, software, hardware, and operating systems for local and remote users.
• Provide Tech Support & Training: Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, VPN, and VoIP issues, and deliver clear, effective technology training.
• Manage Technology Assets: Purchase, inventory, and track equipment while documenting support and repair history.
• Support Daily Operations: Perform routine system checks and updates and serve as a key liaison between staff and management on technology needs.

JOB STATUS: Full time (40 hours), 12 months

As a Technology Systems Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Transportation Departmentby managing and improving the technologysystems that keep our operations moving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum: Associate degree in ComputerScience with two (2) years of related ITexperience. An equivalent combination ofeducation and experience may be considered.
• Preferred: A+ Certification and other relevantindustry certifications.
